
Painted Hills Changes Processors
October 4, 2004 - Painted Hills Natural Beef, Inc., based in Fossil, Oregon, announced this week that they are changing processing plants. Painted Hills products will now be processed by Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. The change is set to take place beginning October 8.
Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. employs some of the industry's strictest safety standards. The state-of-the-art facility in Pasco, Washington will maintain stringent protocols of separation during the entire process to ensure the segregation of Painted Hills cattle and products.
One of the few changes evident to PHNB customers will be new packing boxes. Painted Hills primal beef cuts will now come wrapped in signature cryovac film as well as branded boxes. Few other changes will be evident.
Painted Hills previous processor was Washington Beef in Toppenish, Washington.
